Granule forms
The standard form of the granules is a cylindrical pellet with a diameter of 3mm and a pellet length from 3 to 4 mm. However, both the diameter and length can be altered on request or produced within a defined tolerance range.
With underwater pelletizing, granules in cylindrical form or lens shape are available. The form of the granule available is limited significantly by the rheology of polymer melt. The granule can be supplied with a diameter of 2 to 4 mm.
Customer demands can be met for special applications like micro-granulates measuring 1 to 2 mm. Granule sizes listed are always averages, the size distribution is always measured by a Gaußchen distribution function.
